Wearing at the Farmers Market
As an Ann Arbor-dwelling Michigander for a little over three years now, I am a loyal and frequent visitor to the Ann Arbor Farmers Market. It’s one of the best ones I’ve ever been to, not to mention it’s right outside of my second home, V2V. This market has it all: a variety of herbs and plants, food carts, and plenty of produce. It’s an easy one stop shopping experience on anyWednesday or Saturday, and there are usually great musicians playing, as well. I highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t yet!

Wearing
As we move into the last weekend of summer, I find that I am growing more and more comfortable with the arrival of fall. Those who know me well know that when the weather drops below 70 degrees, I normally get angry, like actually mad. I’ve never liked the cold, but something about this year has me feeling really hopeful. I’m excited for apple picking, trying my hand at hosting Thanksgiving for the first time, and the clothes. I do love the clothes.
While it’s so nice to be able to just throw on a little sundress and sandals and grab my bag and be out the door, my fall wardrobe offers so much more variety. The sweater, jeans, and boot combinations are endless, not to mention all of the great textures of cardigans, socks, and tights to autumnize the aforementioned sundresses. Today, I got into the fall spirit with this cozy sweater, boyfriend jeans, and ankle boots by Free People. The high-heeled boots dress up the distressed denim a bit. I also chose a simple white long sleeve tee by Splendid, a hat by Grace Hats, and my acorn necklace to complete my outfit. Bring it on fall. I’m so ready for you. (Although I am kind of over pumpkin spice everything. Is that awful? Please don’t hate me.)

Wearing
Lately, the weather here in Ann Arbor has been pretty great. It’s cool in the morning and the evening, but still really nice and sunny during the day. It’s perfect for walks through the neighborhood, eating outside, and sleeping with the windows open. The transitional weather calls for some new fall clothes, and I for one am thrilled. I love summer more than any other season, but fall apparel is definitely the best. New jeans, sweaters, and leather pieces do a lot to help me get over the winding down of my favorite season.
