Runway photos from style.com
One of the most fun nights I’ve ever had was three years ago when I had the opportunity to attend a show at New York Fashion Week. Hopefully, I’ll get to make the trip again, but for now, I’ll be content scrolling through the slideshows on style.com. One of my current favorite shows is the Karen Walker Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear. Inspired by suffragettes, Walker showed looks that are definitely feminine but that also convey a somewhat hard, “Don’t mess with me” air. Here are some pieces I’m thinking about wearing until a time when I can afford my own Karen Walker.
